Olive Jar in classic finish
Entirely handcrafted in the South of France according to techniques passed down through six generations, these vases and frost resistant jars with their enamelled or patinated finishes offer an antique style.
Every Olive Jar, rope-turned by hand, is a unique product of the dexterity and inspiration of the master potter who makes it. Each piece exhibits a slight individuality, a variation barely noticeable in size or in shape, which gives it its intrinsic value. After drying, the neck is glazed and the jar is fired. Then the master potter applies patina to give the jar its special finish.
These vases are hand made to order.
The jars are available in five different heights: 130, 110, 90, 70 and 60 cm. They also come in a range of colours including Honey, Green, Blue, Ivory, Red, Black, Pastel Almond Green, Green, Grey, and Light Pink.
