As its name suggests–in Provençal, “bugade” means laundry– the Bugadier was originally a washing machine, but this large jar has also served as a reservoir of water, and a container for decanting.

This traditional shape is handmade in the South of France using traditional rope-turning methods and is finished with either a classic or antique patina and a choice of enamel. Please specify colour at checkout.

.These jars are available in two sizes: 55 or 76 cm. They also come in a variety of neck colours: Honey, Green, Blue, Ivory, Red, Black, Pastel Almond Green, Green, Grey and Light Pink.

Delivery costs and lead times will be quoted separately within 24hrs of your purchase.
